The Will of Ann STRANGE, Wife of Abingdon, Berkshire

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Strange the wife of William Strange of Abingdon in the County of Berks wine merchant made this twenty ninth day of August one thousand eight hundred and twenty one as follows In exercise and execution of the power or authority given or reserved to me in and by the Settlement made in contemplation of my Marriage with my present Husband the said William Strange and of every or some other power and authority enabling me in this behalf I the said Ann Strange do by this my last will and Testament or Testamentary writing Signed and published in the presence of three credible witnesses whose names are intended to be hereupon endorsed as witnesses attesting the same give and bequeath direct limit and appoint all and every Sum and sums of money whatsoever and Stocks ffunds and Securities for Money whatsoever which previous or subsequent to or in contemplation of my said intended Marriage was or were placed in the hands of or in the name of Thomas Collingwood of London the Trustee of the said Settlement In trust for me or for my benefit or otherwise Settled upon me or for my benefit by the said Settlement and all other Monies and Securities whatsoever over which I have a disposing power unto my dear husband the said William Strange his Executors Admors and Assigns absolutely to and for his and their own use and benefit And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said dear Husband sole Executor of this my Will and hereby revoking all former other wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this only to be my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year above written. Ann Strange.

Signed sealed published and declared by Ann Strange the Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. William Graham Solr. Abingdon. Thos. Graham Abingdon Gentleman. Wm. Bailey Servant to Mr. Strange. on the 18th Septr 1830 Admon with the will annexed of the Goods Chattels & Credits of Ann Strange late of Abingdon in the county of Berks deced. was granted to William Strange the husband of the said deced. the sole Executor named in the said will having been first sworn july to admr. The said William Strange as the lawful husband being entitled all the goods Chattels & Credits of the said deced. not disposed of by her said will.
