STRANGE ONE-NAME STUDY
LONG WITTENHAM, BERKSHIRE
'STRANGE' CHURCHYARD MEMORIALS

Monumental Inscriptions
A survey was conducted in 2004; previous survey was done in 1938 but many stones have since disappeared. The 1938 transcription for these missing stones is included.  David Ludlow told me a new survey was being carried out using the 1938 transcript where it has since eroded.  The photographs and transcriptions below are the intellectual property of the Oxfordshire Family History Society - Copyright © Oxfordshire Family History Society, 2004 and they are displayed here within the terms stated on their CD.
