I am the grandson of John James Strange, born 1878 in Derbyshire, England whose father was James Strange, b 1857 in Tansley, Derbyshire, Eng whose father was Thomas Strange, b. 18 May 1828, in Tansley, Derbyshire, Eng. & died 31 mar 1863 & whose wife was Mary Ann Long, b. 4 Feb 1830 in Birchover, Derbyshire and who died 4 Feb 1902 in Tansley Parrish.  I would like to know who their parents were (Thomas and Mary Ann again are suggested, but I have no source info on this).

My married name is Strange, my husband's family originate  from Derbyshire, his paternal grandparents being from Glossop - Richard Henry and Isabella - 5, Mill Street.  My husbands father was Stanley & he had a brother Ernest.
